I believe music is one of the few places where honesty and possibility can exist at the same time. Every performance, composition, and recording begins with a simple question: What is this music asking for? Rather than forcing ideas into predetermined forms, I approach every project with curiosity, allowing improvisation, collaboration, and careful listening to shape the outcome.

My work draws from the lineage of Black American music—not as isolated genres, but as an ongoing conversation. Jazz, hip-hop, gospel, soul, and blues all inform the way I hear, create, and communicate. Whether performing with an ensemble, producing in the studio, or standing alone on stage, my goal is to create music that invites reflection, encourages connection, and reminds us that the most meaningful moments are often the ones we could never have planned.
